Well seeing as this site is soooooo against people doing conversions(namely XE/LET into Corsa) and not declaring it,heres a wee way of checking if its insured as a converted car.Sometimes it shows up as a converted car on the insurance but theyrs also another way to see if its been changed on the doccys and if the owner is paying full road tax.

http://www.askmid.com/askmid.aspx

So far ive checked a cpl of cars from the 1st page alone and tut tut,not declared.

Maybe this should be stickied.

tut, tut, did you not read the box you ticked?

'I confirm that the vehicle detailed above is registered, owned or insured by either my employer or myself and is regularly driven by me. I understand it is an offence to wrongfully obtain information of this nature without reasonable cause and if I fail to provide true reasons for acquiring information I may be committing an offence of unlawfully obtaining data contrary to section 55 of the Data Protection Act 1988.'

not so law abiding yourself are you?

(oh and by the way my car is not converted)lol

Nope i have reason to beleive a car/owner hasnt declared modifications to theyr vehicle resulting in them breaking the law.

Im sure if it came down to court action,i would get a slap on the wrist if it was found the other party was breaking the law even more than me.

Which then brings me pack to my post,i have true reasons for acquiring such information.
