Well after we found out my wife needed to go private for an operation (which she had yesterday) which cost £4600 and me getting Laser surgery the day after boxing day (4K) i wanted a cheaper car too run but that was still fun etc Soooooooooo after liking these for a few years i found a minter not far from me
[img] [/img]

04 Plate Clio 182 with both cup packs in Mica black.
56K
Full Renault history..just serviced
Loads of MOT and Tax
Auto Zenons (one of my fav. parts of the car!)
Auto wipers
Cruise and speed control
Climate control
Cd player
Leather and Alcantara
Nearly new Michelin Exalto's all around
Spax rear suspension
Etc Etc
Cost me 4K which considering i was looking at these last year for around 7K upwards is a bargain IMO My insurance has come down from £1000 to £450 too and getting a hundred miles more to a tank of fuel
I remember test driving a 172 a few years ago and didn't like it apart from the handling! This however is awesome The driving position isn't as bad as i thought and it just needs to be the 'Right' position for me which i've found..seat leaning back with the wheel right down as far as it can go.
Clutch is a tad heavy but got used to it already.Getting used to FWD handling again but the handling is amaizing So telepathic and direct! Brakes are spot on too.Kinda feels like a grown up Saxo VTS/106 GTI.
When it gets moving it shifts too but until 5K it's a tad flat smooth though so a nice drive overall.Going to get a decent exhaust..ind kit and MAP eventually to make it sound better and get the most out of it.
I wanted a more upmarket car but my wife is now better sooner and i can't wait to get my eyes sorted Nice to enjoy driving again too!

Nice
So so happy I got rid of my 172 when I did, I got not much less than 4k a couple of months ago, the clios seem to have been hit even harder than other cars.
