Just noticed this recently, especially when going around a corner or roundabout the light comes on and then goes off after I straighten up...
Am I right in thinking that I am just low on oil or is it something worse?
Sorry if this is a stupid thread - but I am a bit worried because it has never come on since I've had the car (owned it almost 2 years).

check your oil mate and see if its below minimum on the dipstick,
but it sounds like you just need to top up with oil

Have you actually checked the oil? If not then you probably shouldn't own a car.

Has the oil and filter been changed in the two years you have owned the car let alone checked the oil , but check the oil before you drive it again better still change the oil/filter.

if your oil is low then as you corner it gets thrown to one side starving the other side of the engine with its oil, trust me on this it will cause the engine to seize! i lost almost £2000 of hard work on my honda civic because i spent so long tuning it i neglected the oil consumpion! it seized solid!

I only posted the thread because before when it was empty on oil the light didn't come on at all?
Hence why I was unsure = me posting this thread
