Not sure, I only live 1 mile away from the main sorting office bit as well, where they collect their rounds from. It was in the news the other day the bosses who swan around in their offices all day want the poor posties to quicken up to 4mph now?

They have had to change their hours for some reason. Most don't even leave sorting until 8/9am.
Remember this time of year is hectic for the PO, my dad is working flat out at the moment!

I dont mind them being late and everything, shitty weather, all the jazz, but what Ben said gets my goat, when they leave something thats obviously got some value to it in full view, that pisses me off

Mine's always early on Saturdays for some reason. He came about 12 today, it used to be here by 10am when we moved to this house, it's gradually gone downhill over 5 years.

Our postie normally delivers our mail at about 11am, but we've not had any mail for the past 2 days now. I'm expecting a few things sent by recorded delivery as well, grrr

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
we used to get our post in the morning now its nearly always after 4pm, the guy couldn't even be arsed to give next door their post so put it in our letter box, also he couldn't be arsed delivering a parcel so gave a 'wasn't in' note through the door even though the driveway was full of cars and everyone was in FFS

Is this not POSTED in the wrong place??
Just for the record though postmen do my head in, when i get a parcel thats too big for the letterbox instead of ringing the door bell like a normal person he decides that he'll launch my expensive parcels over my side gate with such a force that often they dont make it in one piece, if they survive teh airbourne attackmy dogs play tug of war with a new t-shirt or whatever i got!
Needless to say i make 1 or 2 trips to my local sorting office!
