need some guidence in swapping my standard suspension to coilovers... thanks

pretty straight forward. do the coilovers have the top mounts on? if not you will need them off your old suspension. will need spring compressor. Slakkern the nut under the bonnet before you take the strut off the car, and then its 4 bolts.

dont think they will come with top mounts, not got them yet. How about the order things go on the coilovers?

2 lower seats/adjusting plates, helper spring(if they come with them), then normal spring, and then the top mount assembly i think. you should get some instructions, if buying new.

they will just go on the piston/rod.

will i get new ones with the new suspension? last time i fitted some suspension with a friend we cut the original ones in half?

Why don't you ask the person you are buying them from?

The order they go together in is exactly the same as with a standard shock and spring set up, bar the helper spring.

there should be small bumpstops with the coilovers. as for the rears you want to take everything off the rear shocks and put it all back on the new shocks in exactly the same order. Same goes for the front topmounts, except the fronts have a massive rubber spring seat on the standard shocks which you wont need.

ive fitted them today, but the rears don't sit as low as i thought? not using the adjusters for height just the spring and shock?
