Just after some rough costage for some corsa c parts. Someone went into the side of it at about 20mph, dented door, panel where rear door would be if it had one. And rear, drivers side corner is all dented, light and fog smashed. Is that an easy panel to replace? Plus respray on the damage. Oh and tracking is knocked out and one alloy is foobared. Got one pic of some of the damage in 'misc cars' folder in garage, on my mobile so can't link it up myself. Cheers.

Door about £150ish
Quarter panel about same, fitting the quarter panel about 10hours labour (my garage is £30 per hour) so £300, paint full side, and rear bumper about 10 hours again, looking about £1500 id say.

Not a chance, only needs a new outer quarter panel. Makes me laugh how people dont understand that when they have a little bump they have immediatley ''wrote their car off''

Someone pulled out, into side of him, spinning the car across the road, where someone else coming other way hit the rear corner of him. Has never been any question of not going through insurance, he just wanted to know rough costs, especially with the value of the car. Guy who you into him admitted full responsibility etc

Most cars are written off these days tho, if it costs more than 60% of the cars damage they write it off. Know plenty of people whos cars have been written off for minor damage, dented doors etc. Easy fix and could do it cheap your self. But for a pro paint job and a mech to do al the work its not so cheap.

Like i said, about 10hours for quarter panel @ £30 an hour is £300, plus price of panel, = £200 at most, =£500, plus door, light, bumper etc say another 500 = £1000, plus paint + labour, + approximatly £1500.
