Been getting a few quotes on some cars which im interested in gettig after the new year and getting told higher quotes than what im paying on newer cars.
example of these cars are new clio/fiesta/corsa etc 1.2 - 1.4 engines
anybody else had any problems with insurance quotes like this in the past?

I'm not particularly sure what you're on about. Newer, smaller engined cars are more expensive on insurance?

tbh, insurance is just legal rape, Pay it an use lube...

Ive got higher quotes on newer cars ( 06 onwards with small engines ) than my current 1.6 astra 98

I can only presume it's because they are worth more money and will cost more to repair.
