You don't as far as I know. You use the wi-fi feature built in to the ipod to access wireless internet networks. You'll either have to setup your own wireless network using a router or find other access points when you're out and about.

you can use them at home,
they are very good just got one,
as for out and about, u will need to find a place with wi-fi

i swapped mine with 205tom the other week.. i needed a classic to work with my car
Pretty much internet wise you can only get on via wi-fi.. i.e your home network or other network be it free or one you have crudentials for
the difference with the iphone is that you can browse via 3g when a network is not available
well worth it though jakey, movies are top notch on it.. and generation 2's have a speaker now
