I thought I'd show you guys as there is some interesting stuff to see. I am about to research a bit more to make the post on 28dayslater as that's what they prefer on there, but it's a very interesting place. Still buzzing from it, didn't realise how scared I was till the relief of being out of there!
So here are my snaps, they're not amazing as I was pretty much point and shooting, it's amazing how photography goes out the window when you just want to keep moving.

I tried some urban exploration not so long ago.. i had seen it on 28dayslater..
http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=9288&highlight=holmes+chapel
Didnt go to plan.. Firstly after scoping out the back gate we decided that was for the new bit and was a bad idea.. so off round the front the old bit...
Managed to lift up the temporary fencing to turn around a see a camera.. though oh well... noticed all the windows were all darkened.. was expecting to look through them and it be like resident evil.. zombies or something inside..
Trecked across the front to a security gate where we saw a gypo (security) in a caravan watching telly.. decided to call it a night..
ive seen some cranes though on 28 days later in manc that look cool

You should recognise all 3!
It wasn't as scary as we all thought it would be, we were just on edge, like a slow closing door slammed behind us about 30 seconds after we'd gone through it, and my god did it scare the shit out of us, but it was proper good fun and I can't wait to go back.
We were there over an hour and covered about half the place, it's huge

Drained mate, this is what it looked like about 2 years ago:
Look at this thread from 2/2/07, shows how much it's been trashed in the just under 2 years since those pictures, quite annoying really as I'd have loved to have seen it in the state of those pictures. So many things in those pictures have changed, most of which you can see by comparing my pictures to it.

If you do, give me a shout, I'm more than happy to show you the way in and join you, not a good idea to go by yourself!

We went for a re-visit to get the rest done, met some people in there doing the same thing, that was a scary moment!!
We have got most of it done now, only a couple more bits left I think, and random locked rooms I'd love to get into...
I'll be going back again, think we found a new way in that's slightly easier and bigger, so that's cool.
