Copied from my TP thread, apologys to people already signed up on there:
After the thread I Made in TP yesterday, I did go to Leighton Moss today. Whilst I was there with Dseered, Some Robins that were very kind, decided to pose for us. They really did want to be on the front of the Christmas cards for next year! We had a royal fly-by from the local Swans, And I believe an honour to have seen a "Bittern".
It was a fabulous day and we did see a lot more then i have posted below, but I guess I needed a longer lens.
So, Please C+C as I really enjoyed today and will be doing something like this again.
#1 - Robin
#2 - little poser's
#3 - Think he had a good Christmas Dinner?
#4 - #10 - I have decided to put the full set of pictures up for this fly-by as I don't think i have ever taken consecutive Pictures that were
1) in-focus
2)nice to look at
This is an image i Taken where by i feel the light was at its best and decided to do a little landscape:
#11
And then we seen the Bittern fly! My lens was not long enough, it is heavily cropped and a so a bad example of this bird, but I had to show it
#12
All taken with a Canon 400D with a 55-250mm IS lens hand-held. Exif details should show on images also, if your interested.
Thanks

All very nice and sharp, shame the swans weren't a bit further apart so one wasn't blocking the view of the other, but not much you can do about that.
Robins look ace, number 3 easily the best

Yes, the swans did have a crappy flight path, but if I'm honest - I'm just happy to have got them at all!
