Can someone please point me in the direction of some free software to convert dvd's to the format required on an ipod video, possibly mpeg4?

for windows theres a good one called handbrake
i use a programme called media coder for allsorts blu ray and dvd to mkv and dvd to mp4 (ipod)

Also need dvd43 and dvd decrypter but they are free, just google them
