Should be an interesting watch, especially to see how he portrayed, wonder if the familly come across as being genuinly worried about him, or are just in it to milk a bit more money out of Gazza.

Im going to guess the same as Ojc, if they were that bothered then surley they'd have done something earlier to help the poor bloke.
I suspect they will have been offered a good sum of money for doing this.

Apparently it was his idea, it was just when they started filming it people saw how fucked up he was.
One part of it he is on the bed eating sweets out of a bag and that drunk he throws up in the bag and carries on eating them.

Guys not really of a sound mind to make any kind of decision, I bet even Channel 4 manipulated him to doing it.
Feel sorry for Gazza myself, every man & his dog seem to have taken advantage of him over the years.

The people that let Gazza down are the medical team that let him off his Section just 1 month into his 6 month section when clearly he was still not over his addiction and just waiting to relapse.
That and his so called "friends" who go drinking with him.

No he is not and I really felt for his kids today, the oldest boy was saying he knows he will take his own life in some way but what more can he do.
He is scared to sleep in case gazza rings him asking for help.
His ex wife said she refused to do it at first but when he found out he rang them back and accepted.

I wonder what would have happened if he'd have gone to United, Ferguson would have done a better job of keeping him in check IMO. Seems a lot of his problems started when he went out to Lazio & was left to his own diveces.
One of the best players ever Gazza, and a genuine bloke an all. Just a pity he was too well natured, ended up being his down fall in the end.

Never watched it but the folk that let him down are the five bellies and all those characters.
All the guys that were there during the good times to go get pissed and have a carry on all dissapeared pretty quickly when shit hit the fan.

The problem is theres thousands of people with drink problems etc, yet as Gazza was a huge star people take interest and it makes the news.

Yeah, thats what the etc was!
Same thing stands though, his career came to an end and he has no idea what to do with himself and the drink has been his downfall. Theres alcoholics that have probably turned to drink after business'/jobs have ended or gone sour.
Agreed its not nice viewing but he shouldn't get any special sympathy.

Maybe not Marc but i suppose because it is someone so famous and iconic it helps raise awareness of not only the effects of alcoholism but also mental health problems.
Random Joe Bloggs in the street wouldnt attract as much attention.

I'd sympathise with anyone that's been taken a loan of by his so called mates.
He's been left to conquer demons pretty much alone. Although in saying that his wife did extend the olive branch but it was probably too late by then.
Shame, he was supremely talented at football.

Gazza is one of my heros. Such a shame to see him like this. Quite emotional actually.
Trouble is, the damage is already done. As much as you try, you cant help sombody who no longer wants to be helped. Best thing for Gazza would be for him to just get on with whatever he wants to do before he dies, becuase he probably hasn't got much longer left
