there was a saab engine bodged into a nova on png back along.

they fit with the f28 etc so shouldnt be too complicated

I think there has been a few attempts. Its more common (yet not common at all) for them to go in Astra's I think. There was a thread about it on AOC the other day

most saabs share the same chassis as the astra i think thats why mate ^^

A mates on about putting one in his Astra GTE from a Saab 9000 2.3 turbo

Beardy is interested in doing a conversion for someone who wants a Corsa with sabb engine

A 9-5 aero engine in a corsa would be immense, they pull like a train when its in the 9-5 that weighs as much as a small planet.

believe a guy loca to me uses a white nova with some saab turbo etc? not sure if its just the saab turbo or a saab engine but its a V6

If it's from a 9-5 aero HOT it's 250bhp.

yea thats my mates arrons one he has a saab turbo on it but its a vauxhall 3.0 v6 engine sabb turbo with nos

Isn't the new tweaked 2.3 more around the 250-60 mark? I know the 1999 Aero were knocking out 230bhp, as brother has a '99 95 Aero.

Edit - although any 2.3 in a corsa would be awesome! Anyone know what's involved? I'm assuming the mounts are different?

Not sure on the latest engines, think they have even more.

Any in the age range that will be going in a corsa will be either 230 or 250 though.

a freind of mine has used a saab 3ltr bottom end on his old astra ona v6 conversion and another has a 2.4 bottom end from a forklift on his c20let in his astra cabrio
