Ive known a few people that have commited suicide and once upon a time the thought did cross my mind. I was in a dark place at the time but i managed to drag myself out of it.

as it goes i didnt have the balls to do it myself, i know that many people view suicide as the cowards way out, but i really dont see it that way,

1, you have to have the balls to do it for a start
2, you have to be prepared to to leave everyone that you love and everyone that loves you

sometimes i do believe that its a cry for help that is taken to far

what are your thoughts?

Selfish. Known people who have done it. Fukin idiots. The heart break it caused for their family, especially their mum. She has to sit there day in day out wondering why and will never properly know.

Havent got time for people who do it.

You don't need balls, you need balls to face the problems and sort them out.

You need to be drunk to take some pills, hang yourself.

Hell no. It's a cowardly, gutless thing to do. Man up, face your problems, become a better person for it.

I think its one of those things that you need to be there to know.
A lot of people that say cowards way out etc have probably never been as depressed as the ones that do it. But you never know what the road ahead holds. So probably best to keep quiet incase you do get to that stage. Would look like a right cock then.

Selfish and cowardly imo, fucking horrible for it to happen to a family, and the person that commits suicide probably doesnt care about that, it takes a real person to face up to their problems and overcome them

Oh, and

Trying to genuinely commit suicide (not a cry for help) and not managing it = mahoosive fail

A mate of mine hung himself from a tree in some nearby woods just over a year ago, leaving unborn twins without a dad. He just got up in the middle of the night, sent a few goodbuy texts then done the deed..............selfish, I think a bit he had more than himself to think of.

I dont believe that anything is ever that bad that you should resort to taking your own life.

It's the easy option IMO, think of the images you would be putting into people's minds, especially your parents? Visualising you as a dead corpse, having to sort arrangements to bury their child? And the whole process of grief, living a normal life and never forgetting what occurred, when really the suicidal person was just as much as an attention seeker as all the females on CorsaSport.

That's the sort of thing that is absolutely tragic. You've just took the one escape route that leaves maximum devastation for the people you supposedly love.

My mates uncle hung himself as did the dad of a girl I was seeing last year, both the daughters and the girl are pretty much fucked in the head for life not having a father and thinking it's their fault he killed himself.

Terrible thing for anyone to be lumped with growing up.

indeed, i used to be in the army cadets in my younger years, there was a girl that came afew times, she was 16/17 (i can't remember exactly) when she was younger she had found her mother after she had committed suicide, then afew months later her dad after he had killed himself. her life was ruined because of it, it was like she hadn't grown up any since it happened, so in effect it was like talking to a child. fucking devastating, not something i'd wish to put on anyone
