i had the code reader put on my car (1.4 16v sport) and it said my air intake temp is HIGH VOLTAGE what does this mean ? is it not working coz you allso have low voltage and could this be making my car run rich because off this

replace the sensor should not cost much ,then get the fault code turned off or remove battery for a few hours.

I think so , sensor measures resistance if this is wrong for the set parameters then you will get either high or low voltage error codes , replace it and see if that sorts it.

we cleared the codes and the engine managment light doesnt come on now but my car is running too rich. could it be that

What makes you think the motor is running rich ? ,have you fitted a power box of any description, are you using the standard air box with a clean filter , have you replaced the sensor yet ? what code reader was used ?
