Have just got a price from a place in Warrington full leather retrim in 2 colours of my choice and all piping done and what not. Seems to be into his cars as he is getting a corsa B C20let tomorrow.

Do you think if i mentioned getting mag featured and that i would plug his business and stuff like that, that i could get the price down a bit more. Just curious thats all and wondered if its worth trying or not and has anybody else tryed it?

Why don't you just wait and see if you could get a second hand set of VXR seats or something? The seats are far superior and will be cheaper than a retrim

Id rather buy a leather sofa for £300 and stick that in the back. I would not pay a fucking £1k for a retrim. Im sorry, but you only sit on them. Not only that, I hate leather. its either too cold, or you leave sweaty gooch marks on it. Such a waste. Spend it on something actually worth while.

Only takes a bit of imagination.

Clio 197 Recaros? Focus ST Recaros? Corsa VXR, Astra VXR, Vectra GSi?

I would rather spend 1k on some really decent bucket seats, really classy ones.

Dave has mentioned Vectra GSI seats also. Would they fit?? Plus i would want the rears to match or be similar colour at least.

They will look dated in your car i think. Maybe get recaro's from an accord type-r with lumber support.
