Today it suddenly hit me that the standard clocks on a sport look like crap.
Being broke I had to think of a low cost option, so using only a tin of black spray and some red paint I achieved the following.
standard
got the dials out of the car and split them
painted the needles in red as the orange is dire
then primered and painted the surround in matt black and clipped it back together
then the finished article
im really pleased with the result. not bad for £0.00 and about an hour!

wudnt it have bin easy to get scrappy and buy a 1.4 surround and change them?:s dont mean to be funny like mate just was thinking i love the 1.6's wanted them for my 1.4 so bad haha

You have to be joking. Drve to a scrapy hope they have a 1.4. Remove the surround. Pay it defeating the point of a free mod. Then drive back and fit it to mine....

You have to be joking. Drve to a scrapy hope they have a 1.4. Remove the surround. Pay it defeating the point of a free mod. Then drive back and fit it to mine....
