Yeah. Something like that is what you need. You can get them cheaper off eBay though - ones that plug into the headphone port.

I've got a cheap one you plug into headphone port from argos and tbh it sounds naff and worse than fm quality tbh, anyone had any better results?

I have a Griffin iTrip for my 3rd gen iPod, sounds pretty good to me, the newer ones have to be plugged in the bottom though, like that Argos link. I think the frequency response is something like 22k so it sounds a tiny bit different to start with but you get used to it.
In short: They're good and will work with any FM radio

What i dont like about them is the FM quality of the songs. I know that might sound daft cause thats what its for.
If it was a digital radio would the sound quality be completely clear?

^^ Yep rhats right, my sister had one in her clio for ages! it was rather cool, just have to find a free station and play songs through the ipod!
Unless you upgrade your headunit and get an ipod lead or get a headunit like mine where the ipod slots into the stereo like a cd and tuck it away using the face.. sooo cool!

They are better if you get the one that plugs into ciggy lighter, the sound is much better as its not using the ipod battery, plus it charges your ipod. I got one from a local market for £6, works perfect. I also got a Belkin one off my girlfriend for chrimbo which is good too.

cheap ebay ones are poor in my experience, not too bad at low volume but at high volume the destortion is unbearable
