. . .don't think I've ever seen a thread like this, so thought I'd post one.

I was a massive fan of cars when younger, and use to play with them continuously, sitting content for hours on end. Anyway, my 2 younger cousins came round the other day and I saw the toy box mum has for them. And in it, was my favourite toy car.

A Jaguar XJS is British Racing Green. As you can see below, it has had 1 careful owner I called it my "glug glug" (no idea why) and used to do the obligatory 'doors open pretend it's a plane' thing.

Anyway, pics.

My Lego is quite simply my favourite toy, I had all the two pirate ships that were out at the time along with all the islands etc, I had the Robin Hood Lego as well with the castle and Robin Hood hideaway.

I recently got it all out again from the loft and put some of it back together again and it now resides on my shelf.

I only just put away some of my Lego yesterday, after fixing it all and making sure that none of the parts were missing.

I have too much Lego. I spent the best part of a week putting together models (along with a geeky list of the bits that were missing) and i've still got loads of models to make.

Great post

I've got lots of Matchbox and Corgi metal toy cars, some hotwheels ones too.

Also got all my original Lego, airports, planes, racing car set + another smaller set, plus loads of the small blocks. I saw it all again when I moved it into my loft, and i've still got all the original racing trucks i made. I gotta get a picture this weekend, i loved making things with it

I've also got quite a bit of wooden Brio railway with boxes. Had it since i was about 4, think its still made and worth quite a bit.

Im keeping it all for when I have kids as a lot of it inspires imagination.

Sadly, im making my own new toy in my loft, geek aleart. Something i wanted since i was a child though and now i've got the space and money to do it mental style. 00 model railway (GEEK i know i know ).
