i have just bought a GSi with an XE in it.
the guy before me has ripped out the alarm and now it doesent run.....
it is turning over has feul but no spark..
i think the ignition live is broken, could they have cut into this for the immobiliser in the alarm??
does any1 have a GSi wiring diagram? or know were i can get one??
any help much appriciated

im sure its something daft like the green wire or something lol.. thought your just gona whip the engine out and put it in a nova? or you want some fun with it first

mot is good till next month mate and tax the same. Yeah might be a good idea getting one to look at it. And i ain't the plonker well ok i pay'd 1.8k for the bloody thing and sold it to you for 250..

how about changeing the crank sencer as thats all mine was no spark but rest was fine

Are you getting an eml when you turn the key? If so then the ecu is getting the ignition live. Which would then suggest the crank sensor or coil module. If the light isnt on then id get power to ecu first.

have got this sorted now i had no EML was the immobiliser wired into the ignition wire
will have the loom repaired and rewired weekend hopefully then can crack on with the welding
