Why would you even 'race' a car you know you are going to own? Got it all the time in my last Evo, best one was some knob on Brighton sea front in a Corsa Merit revving his engine. When I sold it, was running 380hp/375 ft lb, did have the bits to take it well over 450 but couldn't be arsed in the end and wanted rid. Rather travel in comfort/class these days

As I said before, I would rather own a decent all rounder car, than say an Escort RS running silly power. I could buy a Nova for what I've spent on my current car and probably own the quickest Nova in the world
