Is a happy car.

Is everyone keeping on top of getting the road filth off their cars?

Trouble is, I know that after 1 week, my cars gonna be totally covered all over again

The longer between washes, the harder it is when you do get round to it I found, whatevers in the grit and salt they put on the roads nowadays can get right into the paintwork and fook it up.

Yeah, too true. I only did mine last week but it's horrid already. Not the worst ever but I still don't like it Gave it a wax last week so it should come off nice and easy today

I feel reluctant to wax mine right now, a lot of work to do, only to need to wash it again the week after!

Not too much work imo, the stuff I've used is easier than polish, plus it makes it easier next time to clean.

My car is the only one on the street that's wet ALL the time because of it being waxed

I always hose it off first, it gets quite a bit off on its own after it's been waxed. Then the washmit Hey, I washed, polished and waxed it in 0C last time

Oh yeah, btw, two bucket method: soapy water in one and clean in another, to use after putting the soapy on?

If cars is really dirty...

Quick blast over with pressure washer,
PH Neutral Snow Foam, leave for 5-10 mins,
Rinse off using pressure washer,
Then wash using the 2 bucket method.

Suprising what snow foam brings off, but I only use it once in a while not every wash as I don't like letting the car get overly dirty!

Cool, I can't afford snowfoam though I have about £10.50 in my pocket which has to last the rest of the month.

I was wondering what the two bucket method is though because people are always going on about it, and after I finished washing my car last week the water was brown so thought I might give it a go. But I need to know what it is first

1 x Bucket - warm soapy water
1 x Bucket - clean water

But your washmitt / sponge in the soapy water, wash part of the car, then the mitt into the clean bucket, rinse the mitt, before reloading with warm soapy water to wash, repeat etc.

Also saves water as odd as it sounds (or rather your soapy water goes further)
