I have got another project on the go now, even though this is the first project thread i have made I purchased this car at the weekend i give £250 for it and the shell is mint for its ages in all fairness so its a good plain standard base to work from I recently wrote off my ladys 106 GTI, which didnt go down to well but all is not lost as im now using that as a donar car, engine, back axle and a few other bits which used to look like Im hoping to put the 16v into the s1 and make it into a track car/van

The plan is

S2 rallye seats
S2 rallye door cards
Luke 3 point harnesses
15 inch steelies (wrapped in proxes)
Van panels
Van floor
GTI engine
GTI axle
GTI front brakes (maybe GTI 6)
Usual breather mods
Cam's and remap (on top of the budget)
