Yesterday on the way to work in the evening my car was idling very very high. I don't have a rev counter, but I'd guess at about 2.5k revs.
And as a result was getting very hot very quickly in traffic.
But then on the way home it was absolutely fine, back to normal.
Any ideas?
And with the wheel, it's when I steer left, and only left, never when going straight on and it's worse under load.
I've checked wheel bearings for play and there is none. It just doesn't feel very wheel bearing-y. So what else could it be? CV joint? track rod ends?
