Ahoy folks, I sold an Xbox cable on ebay the other day, got an email from Paypal saying the buyer had sent an e-cheque and it was pending, so not to send the item till the payment had cleared.
Anyway, just went on my ebay and I have this message from the buyer.
Hi, i just won and now have purchased the vga cable you were selling. I payed via pay pal and can send you the email which i got which shows that i have paid. I send this as i would (pay more to you) if you could send it to me by tonight. I know you have not recieved the money but i promise i have sent it and you shall get the money. If you do send it tonight i would like to say thank you by paying more. Please send me your pay pal name or put something fake on ebay and ill buy that. How much would encorage you to send it in todays post so i get it staurday? please feel free to call me on 0................. or email me at ..........@hotmail.com
Then another:
Hello, i sent you an email regarding extra payment for the vga cable. What are your thoughts on it?
Trying to con me right?

I'd tell him he can wait. If he wanted it sent straight away then he should have contacted you before bidding to make sure it was ok.

If he wanted to get it straight away he should have paid properly using PayPal! I don't know if you can or not, but wouldn't be surprised if you can cancel an e-cheque, hence trying to get you to send the cable before he cancels payment.

If he says he's payed with PayPal how can you not check yours to see if there have been any payments made to it? Or am I missing something
