very cleaver website, must be making some coin off it!!

Anyone used it? 40p to bid, adds time on when someone bids

I wouldnt use it as chance of winning is tiny, but guys at work do

I dont understand how it works

take this one for example:

http://www.swoopo.co.uk/auction/apple-macbook-mb466b-a-13-3-inch-laptop/144792.html

macbook penny auction.. costs 40p to bid but it only goes up a penny..

so you pay 40p to bid a penny onto the price you pay later?

40p per bid

highest bid at end wins

but

when someone bids with like 1 second to go, it adds 15 seconds

last man standing wins, which is good

everyone else has wasted money bidding and have nothing to show!

great if you stick one bid on and win it, but would never happen!! All goods are then bought from Amazon and sold at winning price

sony 50 inch TV sold for like 200 quid, bargin, but the website made a small fortune off selling it!!
