As some of you are aware I had all my photography equipment stolen towards the end of last year
Anyway, I have just bought a new set up off ebay
canon 400D with kit lense, boxed with all acessories
55-200mm canon lense
75-300mm canon lense
canon battery grip
x2 2gig memory cards
Carry case
All for £330. Now all I need is to replace my 50mm lense and then I have replaced it all

Why get a 55-200 and a 75-300? I'm assuming your kit lens is 18-55, so you could have just the kit lens and the 75-300?

50mm Lenses are among the sharpest primes of them all, unless its not for your camera, you should keep it!

Christ, £100 would be an awesome deal. At that price could whack it on ebay and double your money!
£300 for the above kit is also a good deal - I'd ditch the 75-300 and 18-50 (the 55-250 is better IMO) and get yourself a 50. I had those two and they're both VERY sharp for the price. Then all you'd need is something like a 10-20 for wide angles and your sorted

I had a 50mm before it all got stolen, was a great lense and i'm deffinately going to be replacing it! 10-20mm wide angle lenses are a bit out of the price range, i might have to wait until my next student loan instalment
