Now looking for £2250 ono before I put it on Ebay in the next couple of weeks!!
Awesome track beast!
Lotus Carlton Replica – 3.0 24V
I have owned her for 18 months and she has a new MOT and around 6 months tax.
Spec:
- Replica LC bodykit
- genuine Lotus wheels with good tyres
- Lotus badges
- Auto to manual (Getrag) conversion by previous owner (who has regular Total Vauxhall Magazine features)
- new dual mass flyheel
- Luk UK clutch assy
- Full engine rebuild around 45k ago (now on around 150k)
- heavy duty timing chains and guides
- Scorpion full s/s exhaust
- FSE power boost valve
- K&N panel filter
- Performance chip approx 235bhp @ flywheel (limiter removed)
- Very good condition half-leather GSi interior
- Kenwood multi changer (in boot)
A couple of bad points:
- Some minor scratches to bodywork (T cut should sort this out)
- The dashboard brake light is on due to the performance brakes not having sensors
- cruise control not working (I spoke to GSi ‘nut’ who said the control box needs dry soldering to fix this?)
- The fuel gauge has recently stopped working, but the trip computer MPG etc works fine
I also have some spares which I can throw in:
- custom-made brand new front strutbrace
- spare replica front and rear bumpers (used)
- 2 spare rear spoilers (1 brand new replica in box and 1 used genuine LC)
I have just fitted a new rotor arm and had a full diagnostics check – all is running well: air flow, fuel pressure, engine temperature etc.
She has great performance and would make a fantastic track/road car.
I am looking for sensible offers around the £2750 ono mark!
I am located near Middlesbrough and work Mon-Fri most weeks and every other Saturday/Weds.
