i currently have a 1.2 ls which is a runaround project. wheels lowered the usual, currently its off the road and am going to put it in for its mot soon, the problem with the steering is that there is alot of play in the steering and starts to turn about a quarter the way round, then really tightens up, and say id if keep it turned it feels like someone is wanting to pull it back the other way?
Does anyone know how i can fix this?

track rod ends need replaced....

or possibly the rack is goosed !! lol

thought it might be the rack, i can easily source one, just dont know how to get them off lol
