Well, seeing as V947 died on me  RIP Betty. I found myself with my new car, which i wasnt too sure on when i first saw her, but looking behind the false front put on her i saw potential.
She had such a comprehensive history and hadnt done too many miles either, so tripped on down to have a look at her and decided i wanted her.
Say hello to VeeTwo 
So thats the intro done.
I got her home on Saturday, slightly embarrassed due to the stupidly loud exhaust that is on her. But you know.
 Its coming off ASAP 
Anyways, i decided the alloys were wank, i hated them from day 1, so they were first to come off in favour of my SXI's  Made such a difference!
Then fitted my bonnet lifters because i had forgot how heavy a corsa bonnet was  My god 
Then swapped my rear light cover over for a nicer new looking one

Then noticed this, hmm, is this what they mean by white cars FTL!?
So that meant wash time  Scrubbed up well
Still in dire need of a wash, clay, polish and more polish. Got quite a bit of tar spots on the bottom half i want to get off.
But dont have time for that atm, so it will have to wait for now.
Also going to sort out that daft induction kit, but had to wait to get my hands on another bottom half of the air box because the one on V947 didnt survive the crash, they arent resistant to headlights  So that will have to be sorted asap.
Its also idling a bit rough, which im going to try and sort ASAP too, but all in all, im starting to bond with her

As you do, when youve something important to be doing, you always think about something more interesting. So i thought about my plans for VeeTwo
These are by no means a year long plan, they are long term in every sense of the word.
But here goes:
Tidy up paint work - clean it, polish it, sort out a few dings and bits and bobs
Exhaust
Debadged boot
c/c book lock with griffin painted black - not sure how it will turn out yet though
Grommet or Punto wiper - not decided yet as there is a bit of rust around the wiper hole
CS stickers - at home
Tigra scuttle panel
GSI replica skirts
c/c handles with passenger delocked
My white CDX alloys
Smoked lights all round
Debadged grille
Lowered -35mm on eibach springs - hopefully 60mm on coilovers soon after
Black roof rails - already done on V947
Pug aerial
V947's interior
Gloss black bumper tops, arch trims and skirts
2L brake set up + braided hoses
Front and rear strut brace
Rear ARB
BMC induction
Powerbox/Mantzel inlet of some
Plain plates - 3/4 front
Then i am tempting the idea of a black roof............ But that will be eventually
Thats all i thought of for now

There is a lot that will be swapped over, suspension, strut brace, brakes, skirts, lights, interior items - rooflining, dials maybe, headrests, painted trims, handles - alloys, exhaust.
There is plenty to swap over, its just finding the time to do it, which will be summer (maybe easter as i doubt i can wait that long )
She is going to be version two (VeeTwo  ) of V947

Im actually finding the 1.6 really powerful
Not only did i have a mere 1.2, i also havent driven for over 3 months Everything seems fast.

Little update -
Managed to get my hands on a standard airbox bottom half, so that will be sorted on Saturday Induction off and either up for sale or in the bin
And also added my long term plans for her at the bottom of my first post.
