So, my girlfriend just passed her test, so her dad is upgrading his 1995 shity clio thats falling to bits

They want to spend arround £3000/4000, and they want a 5 door, manual hatchback
Something like a Corsa C, Fiesta (she wants one )

Also, something like a 1.4, no LET's or anything!

Any idea's/examples?

Might be abit to fast? She isnt the most confident driver. 1.2 wwould be perfect for her, but her parents would want something faster i think

Audi A3; 1.6 or 1.8. It doesn't sound like they want something powerful/ridiculous but as an all rounder and with the ability to load a small country in the back with the seats folded down, I'd recommend one.

For the budget, you should pick up one of the later, first shape models around Y/51 plate

VW polo? they do 1.2s, 1.4s, diesels, maybe even the 1.6 GTi if the insurance is friendly enough
