This isn't meant to be discriminating in anyway, and I hope this doesn't offend anyone (sorry if it does), but I think I actually have a mild phobia of them.

My mum totally hated them, and i think i've inherited her phobia.
Recently my hatred towards them has grown. Thankfully i've only ever seen a few in the flesh, and generally I just try to ignore them or stay away.
Short people don't freak me out at all, its just "official" midgets/dwarfs.

The other day, my mate asked me what I would do if i saw one running down the street towards me, and just the thought of it really freaked me out. I think i'd either run for my life, or kick it and then run.

went to a BBQ last summer and a friend of a friend of the hosts in-law turned up and was a midget.

Apparently theres a bar in the Philippines where they only hire midget staff.
