if its true that we are thinking of paying money plus lennon for keane I will be most pissed off


Good player but money would be better spent elsewhere and I like lennon

SSN saying a medical will take place this afternoon.

I think it all comes down to the fact Rafa never wanted to sign him, or at least for that much, but Parry decided he wanted to. Rafa wanted to spend the money in other areas where he wanted better players, and didnt get the chance to do so. Hence all this stuff about his wanting control in his contract.

Agreed, pretty much everyone else could see he wasn't going to fit into the system apart from parry it seems. Imagine rafa had control though and we let alonso go for barry, I wonder how that would have worked out.

I think the board would of let him go, they just didnt meet the valuation both Rafa and them agreed he was worth - thankfully!!!
