could u use a set of pins on the resr of the bonnet as bonnet raisers????
i wanna put a bonnet on a raised back and 4 pins
but maybe keep the catch aswell??/

yeah but if i took it off of the hindges could i just raise it on the rear pins???
and with front pins could i keep the catch on the bonnet?

yes you can keep the catch on the bonnet, but what's the point if you're fitting pins? Especially if you're fitting 4 pins!!
If you're totally removing the rear hinges then you could have it at whatever height you wanted.

coz i dont particurlarly want people to be able to open it from the outside so if i have atleast gotta pop the catch i can have a little bit of security

Metal bonnet or fibreglass? Fibreglass bonnets really don't work too well with the catch.
and if it's metal, why the fek would you want 4 pins, it's not like it'll be easy to remove? and if you have pins at the back, there'll be no security because people could lift it up at the back instead.
Have you really though this through?

well yeah but the carbon bonnet wont bend all that well would it???
i have thought this thrugh as my engine is getting to hot and need extra cooling soo bonnet raisers will help and i want it on pis for easy acsesss wen i need to get in but when its parked dont want others beeing able to just pop the pins off
