i need some help guy's. I need to get fit fast, and i also want to tone up.
I have started to turn my garage into a gym. I have a treadmill and bike. Looking to get a rowing machine. Also have a bench and selection of dumbells and bars.
What i need is some sort of routine and exercises to do. Currently biking 10k a day in 20mins and jogging for 20mins.
Can some one help me put a routine together. Im 5ft 11 and 15st so a bit overweight,
cheers

Keep at the cardio, but do it for longer periods, doesn't need to be break neck speed, far from it. they say 60%-70% of your max heart rate (iirc); if you can get hold of a heart rate monitor to monitor it, then your max heart rate is the not so scientific 220- your age.
The biggest challenge is that it is actually very boring.

Working out to music and watching the footy whilst running makes the time fly by.

I split my routine in 2:
Legs, biceps, back, abs
Chest, triceps, shoulders, abs
Not sure how "right" it is but I'm gonna give it a go I'm sure people will correct me!

I always assumed that split routine was the way to go as well.
That routine sys do full body workout for 12 weeks, then move onto split routine
I dont know where to start with dieting? i want to shed weight to start with

Maybe working too much in one go.
I do:
chest and biceps, abs
back and shoulders, triceps
Don't have a set day for legs this is done of one of the 3 visits of the week. Occasionally do 1000m on rowing machine too. Don't do the treadmill much now but thats done about once a week!
You're right though, someone will rip your routine to shreads and tell you another routine!
