Depends how much you listen to it really, their "sound" changed alot from their first album to their last album. Great live too imo

I liek them, They never tehnically broke up though - they went on hiatus.
Angels and Airwaves were good; wasn't keen on +44
There music changed significantly, their middle albmums Dude Ranch and Enema of the State were a bit cheesy pop as were parts of Take off Your Pants and Jacket but either side they were really quite good.

From what I heard, they had a bit of a falling out or something? Hence the whole Angel and Airwaves and +44 thing? I could be wrong it was quite some time ago I read it

Used to like them as a teenager but now they don't do anything for me. They just remind me of a slightly edgier busted/mcfly

Tom felt he was too old to go on doing "kids" punk rock and wearing baggy pants so wanted to do something a bit more grown up and timeless kinda thing.
I think i was a step in the right direction tbh, however i didnt want them all to stop talking etc.
Good news
