I'm developing an standalone application that, once an internet connections is determined, downloads updates (XML data store in a SQL DB) from the net. From what i gather as a standalone app, flash acts in two modes - one having access to the harddrive the other the net (this could be all wrong).
But anyone know if it's possible for the flash application to download the updates and store them on the users system, saving the need to redownload them?
