Just went out and got a Eternity ring from Goldsmiths, as we've been together for 3yrs , wondering wether or not to get hold of a nice photo of me and her and get it put on a canvas?
Edit: she has got me some t-shirts and a Parrot Bluetooth hands free kit as she didnt know what else to get me

I really don't know what to do. I've never had a girlfriend on Valentines Day before, as I'm normally just 'seeing' a bird or whatever and just sort of end it before their birthday/Valentines/Christmas so it ain't awkward. I've been with my current girlfriend for nearly a year and I really don't know what to do.
I've not got much money to waste on silly shit as I've been out of work for months due to an injury... She said that we'll just get each other cards and a little something, but her 'little something' is normally £100+ and I really, really don't want to waste that amount on silly teddy-bears and shit.
Anyone got any idea of something I can buy her that's dirt cheap but looks expensive? I bought her a neckless for Christmas that was £4 at some market but it looked proper expensive and I reckon she thinks it's quite costly... LOL

Me and the missus agreed that we'll only get each other a "joke present".
I can imagine her face and body language if she only gets a "joke present" so I've covered the base and got her some Bulgari perfume just incase. Not arsed if she doesnt get me owt but she fucking better.

as we are saving for a house we are going pretty low key this year... so i am going to make her a card and we are out for a meal on Friday night (looking at 6 houses on sat) and might get her something small even though we said no presents.
