well the imobiliser looks like an aftermarket system,
remove your glovebox and look up under the dash this is normally where they get installed, see what make it is.
is its a decent make they normally use completely black wire so it makes it very difficult to disarm it. so you cant just cut the red wire ect.
it also depends on what the imobiliser is acting on.
might just be connected in with the starter motor so basically you will need to trace the starter motor wiring back and find where the imobiliser wire is joined into the circuit,
some also cut the fuel pump off so you will need to do the same, probly near the fuel pump relay somewhere.
if your not good with electrics i would get an auto electritian to take it out as you may cut a wire and they your engine wont run at all.

nah there will still be the standard imobiliser that is fitted from factory so if that is working fine then should be ok.
but even with cheap imobiliser something like the fuel pump or started will be imobilised

as i siad mate im not really good with electrics so i dnt reli no much.
just wondering tho, cos normally with aftermarket imobilisers when you switch on the ignition, no lights come up so the ignition is imbolised.
depends how it was wired in.
can you not get intouch with the previous owner to find out?
