I'm aware it's a Corsa forum, but I figured some people on here might like to see my changes....

Bought this ZS on Saturday and absolutely loving it....

So far just been driving it and enjoying it, discovered it handles awesome so it's definetly a good base!

All I have done at the moment is remove the numberplate brackets from behind the plates...

Rough idea of plans in PS (Rear wheel is far too big lol):

Coilies (AP's most likely)
RS7 Softspokes
Facelift side strips
Colour code handles, side strips, washer jets and boot strip
Facelift colour coded mirrors
6k HID's (Got some in my garage waiting to recieve a replacement ballast under warranty but having a nightmare with the company)

Engine wise nothing major, just a decent air filter to replace stock item, and an exhaust, nothing too loud, just a nice subtle noise, thinking Milltek Cat Back at the moment.
Just to have a bit of engine note but I don't want it silly loud.

ICE wise, got an Alpine TV Headunit to go in....

(Picture of it in my old Fiesta)

And just a sub & amp to go in, waiting for the Fascia Adaptor to come then will get that in asap.

That's all I can think of for now I'll update when I get round to doing bits and pieces

Thanks guys I had them on my old Fiesta but they got ruined in my accident so I'm on the lookout for new ones. I got mine for £300 though and they are selling for like £5-600 so I'm waiting for a bargain!

You still have to pick up the black pump though

I wouldn't have said it's hard suspension, it's firm but that's why it handles so well. It'll definetly be hard when it's on coilies

I will just enjoying it at the moment

Finally got a replacement ballast on the way after 2 months of arguing with the company I sent my broken one off to. Hopefully that arrives tomorrow and I'll fit my HID's at the weekend if not I'll do it next week.

Think I have all the stuff I need to fit audio too so will probably do that next week too.

Big time

Plus for some reason the standard stereo had some kind of clip holding it in place, cut my hands to pieces trying to get it off in such a tight space.

But thankfully it's now in

I forgot to mention I also fitted my 6k HID's, I bloody love 'em.

I set out to wire in my sub today but woke up too late and would have started getting dark whilst doing it, so that'll wait another day.

Got some LED sidelights to match the HID's. Pic makes sidelights and HID's look bluer than they are though.

Engine bay was also filthy, so gave that a nice clean up, before:

After:

Slow progress at the moment unfortunately which is annoying me

Where did you get the Sidelights mate? The standard ones in the CTR are woeful and I want to change them but most people who have replaced them complain about the life of the LED's.

Cheers Matt!

And Dan, I got them off eBay, just typed in "LED Sidelights Fiesta" and found my shape, were about £3 or something, mostly postage! The life of LED's should be longer than a normal bulb, but with most wiring unless you change the loom to have less/more power drawn to the LED bulb, it could affect the life. I'll just keep buying LED sidelights rather than fuck around with resisting etc!

I haven't driven an ST170 but they are pretty fast I thought, not amazing obviously but I was surprised by how quick it was!

I'm not a Focus fan but I do like the ST170, the wheels make it I think.

Got a pic last night of HID's, and sidelights:

I'm sure you will Fro!

Pics:

Fitting:

And done, this is also after a polishing session, first ever for me on any of my cars!

And I'm pleased with the results:

I should also point out I fitted Chrome Indicator bulbs to lose the 'fried egg' look, such a subtle thing that makes a big difference I think!

What do we think?
