Right was thinking about getting a job somewhere around the midlands/ west midlands whatever because it appears there are a good number of engineering jobs there.
Is there good parts and really bad parts to live in? To me Walsall looks reasonably nice but Wolverhampton looks like a dump TBH (no offfence to anyone).
what other places are nice and preferably full of youthful people? I don't want to live in the wrong place with old people everywhere!!!
Just doing research

Central Birmingham? The place is constantly under development, there are lots of nice areas with bars and restaurants.

There's nice and poor areas of Wolves, and you're probably thinking of Whitmore Reans - which is a shitty area in Wolves right next to the Uni. Overall it isn't a bad place, and depending on where you get your job, you can always commute.

I might be lined up for a job in Stratford, even though I live in West Bromwich. It's a 40 mile drive everyday, but I don't mind that. I finally have a reason to own a derv

Don't come to Coventry. Everything about the place is crap...the city, people, housing, nightlife.

But I've got used to it though. Spend most of my time at work/uni and around people I like so that makes up for it.
