I know some of you work in the recruitment field, so wanted to know if any of you have found some really pointless or general stupid answers.

I just had in bold NON SMOKER on one, I fail to see how that makes a difference unless your applying to work on an oil rig or somthing.

If they are going to be visiting clients they aren't going to stink of fags?

It's not nice having to work next to a smoker if you are a non smoker imo

Why would it not make a difference being a none smoker? Who would you rather employ? Someone who's at their desk all day or someone who goes out for 10mins every hour for a cig?

I'm a smoker and non-smokers here hate us because of our breaks. I'm sacrificing my life-span to have these breaks! Get over it.

Never thought of it that way, i am a non smoker and use to go out with my mate who did smoke for 'fresh air breaks'.

And a smoker complained to my boss about it lol.

Well, yeah our mate who was a non-smoker 'used to' come out with us until management bollocked him because he didn't smoke. Seems non-smokers aren't entitled to breaks

If your stood outside the pub having a fag your more likely to talk to them than if you had stayed inside with your group of people

i went on holiday once with an ex and i'd quit smoking at the time. we struggled to meet any people at all and i swear it was from not smoking. every other holiday where i've been smoking i've always ended up talking with strangers and making new friends.

We have CV and career developments at Uni. I state on my CV the driving licence I hold and that is has no endorsements. The lecturers at Uni told me to not have it on and I was like "what if it's a sales job that requires you to be on the road" so have just left it in.

tbh being a non-smoker is probably valid.
