ive got a redtopped corsa which wouldnt idle i got a fault code scanner and it said my icv was at fault ..... ive fit a new workin icv but it still has the same fault and same fault !! any1 got any ideas?

if its doing it just from cold but idles ok once warm it could be your coolant temp sensor or also more than likely its you mass air flow meter mate

it dunt idle wot eva temp its at and its a new air flow meter. if the air flow meter was at fault it would bring up an eml wouldnt it ?

a air flow meter wouldnt always bring up a eml, but best bet is to check the data list on a tech 1 dianostic reader and check your temp sensor and crank/cam sensor is reading correctly. i got money on coolant temp sensor, also have you cleaned out the idle control valve on the bottom of the maifold???? some times help

coolant temp sensor or throttle position sensor on the side of your throttle body try unplugging that

Could also be due to an air leak of some sort to the throttle body/inlet try checkin hoses for cracks or splits mate

i checked and found my throttle body to inlet was leaking so waiting for part n gunna try thet im renewing all vaccum hoses too see how it goes
