Thought I might start a project thread for this, even though its not a corsa

So picked this up on 07/02/09, a 1995 N reg 106 XSI.

3 owners from new, loads of service history.

Last owner had loads of mods done, including:

Full respray in yellow (Yet to confirm what yellow it is)
Rear disk axle from a 03' GTI

Engine mods included

High lift cam
4 branch manifold
Full stainless system, kept cat in though
Raised rev limit (7.8K)

Pics:

Plans are:

Black morrettes
15" White compomotive mo's
Rear tints
GTI leather interior
16v Conversion?

Not a clue, but a friend of mine has a S2 rallye with the same mods bar a dastek piggyback ECU, and his was dyno'd at 125bhp iirc.

pretty sure my mate has carbs from some sort of bike lying about....

Eck was going to get them but he would have to make his car single point injection.

Aye, can get the carbs cheap enough, its getting the rest of the car set up, RR time getting it all right etc.

Exterior mods wise... You're going to have a yellow version of mine

The only reason I'd keep the 8v would be to get it carb'd.

Otherwise, you have FAR more potential from the 16v.

Yeah, i know, yours is awesome though

Was thinking that, not much more I can do to the 8v now. Might just start steadily building up for a 16v conversion, starting a new job soon

Go for it. You can buy a TU engine quite cheap now. Rebuild it, 708's, 4-2-1, decat system, decent induction kit and remap will see 150bhp easily. In a car that weighs less than 900kg's as standard, it'll be fucking quick!
