Marmaris about 6 or 7 times, always had a great time

Went to Marmaris a few years back. Was pleasenly suprised. I wasn't expecting much tbh but it was great. Beer and food v. cheap. £8 per head for a 3 course including a drink! Locals friendly too but you have to watch out for the dodgy fake goods/scam artists etc as with anywhere.

I found a really cheap deal for May, the hotel works out on that holiday watchdog thing..its in Ovacik an its AI

Probably the best holiday I had was in Turkey in 2006, weeks all inclusive in Bodrum. Lively as well which we weren't expecting.

Its just hassle hassle hassle that place, horrible ignorant fuckers. Because it's cheap you get to share hotels with people like the 13 year old dad and his family.

I been twice, couldn't tell you what is was like as the hotel was 5 star all inclusive, 24hour bar. etc. Only went out the hotel once in 4weeks (stayed for 2 weeks both times) and that was to the nearest town to get some flavoured tobacco and supplies for a shishi pipe

I got hassle first time, every time after I've walked passed without a peep, they think I look turkish tanned with dark hair!

I got stopped at the airport asking where I was trying to go once.

I can imagine Lawrah would get ALOT of hassle of the young turkish fellas but there is so many bars and restraunts about that they have to hassle to get you to notice their place other next door!

That was the only thing I didnt like about Turkey. That and people constantly trying to sell you shit that you dont want. Other than that is was great!

Agreed, I think it may have been 06 aswell Stayed in between Bodrum and Gumbet. Great holiday.
