Right, was looking for something faster than the GTi, spacious, reliable, and something that was going to be alright on the motorway...



Snapped it up at a nice price, and it's remapped to 265bhp






Haven't got any pics of my own, but its the same as that, could do with a nice buffing as some panels are a bit faded

Opinions though ?

mates got one.nice car inside etc.but quicker than a gti im not sure about.another mate has a gti and its all over the seat.but thats cammed,chipped etc

and the seat I have is remapped to 265 bhp.... feels far quicker than the gti. I took the GTi out for a spin last night after driving the seat for a week, and the GTi feels like a 1.2 corsa. lol

same as me mates leon that was remapped at chip wizzard's.im not saying there slow just gti's are good on the performence level for what they are.i think going from a comfy car etc to the pug is going to feal abit down class.lol

Might keep GTi, its a 53 plate, on 46k had waterpump and cambelt service within the last 4k. So going to replace both on 60k anyway

You will be bored very quickly,. i went from a vts to a 210bhp cupra and it does feel quicker cause it doesnt have to try, but its so boring.

paint is a bugger, fades and colour match isnt great between the plastic and metal

nice cars though

always thought the interior is a big let down very cheap and dated looking

yeah colour match is the biggest downfall! I know what you mean on the interior, don't think its too bad though, but without the R thats stitched in it would look very plain.
