...a tow bar? Not the ones to tow caravans/trailers but instead of a tow rope is there a solid bar. You just connect it up like a rope (tow eye-tow eye).

vauxhall still sell tow ropes although they are stretchy like bungy cords.

you still need someone in the car being turned to do the sterring but nothing else.
and whoever is in front needs to make sure they allow enough time to stop as they will be braking to slow two cars and not one. same with acceleration you have to be smoooooooooth.

With the steering wheel like normal 
Nah only messing, they just hook onto your towing eye, they are completly movable. Its better than a rope as in theory stops you running into the car in front, a la Jeremy Clarkson and co.

they aren't that stretchy tbh. you wont get a catapult effect if thats what you are worried about. its just to take the shock out of it.
regarding the car infront braking, i always thought it was the person being towed that had to brake for the two of them?

have oyu never been towed nathy? it's fucking horrible. most i've been towed was about 4-5 miles. fuck 15 miles!

tbh no i haven't, lol. but have seen a'plenty doesnt look safe with teh ropes lol. So now with this in mind, would you get teh tow pole or the bungy cords?
