I have pretty much decided it is between a Clio 197 and a Corsa VXR. Having weighed up my price range and insurance costs, etc I have narrowed it down to the following three colours in the following three models:
Renault Clio 197 Cup in White
Renault Clio 197 in Liquid Yellow
Vauxhall Corsa VXR in Arden Blue
Question is simple really, just want to see which one people would pick if they had the choice.
Cheers

Purely based on driving none of them, the Clio. The Corsa interior is also nasty, in my opinion.

standard vs standard? no
a modded corsa vxr will kick the arse out of a modded vts all day every day.
how can you even compare an old n/a supermini that's now out of date to a modern turbo supermini?

The 197's are brilliant cars to drive, i love mine
If you get one look closely on the seats of the recaro's, the bolster wears very quickly, and although some dealerships replace it under warranty, you have to fight, i've already been turned away from two

Based on looks as I haven't driven them, the 197.
I'd guess the VXR feels the fastest to drive though with a turbo.

Who cares what a vts can do really, this thread isn't about someone wanting to buy a vts
Personally i'd pick a clio, but i'm bias, and although i think the corsa's look brilliant, the ones round here are driven by chavs
