You can hide your email address from the CS 'profile' page. If you do it's only visible to the admins...

I had my windows live messenger open, and i recieved an email from facebook, then when i clicked on the envelope icon, it sent me to that link. and i tried to click on the links at the top (home-My MSN- Hotmail- Etc) and it came up with an error screen. i thought it was a bit wierd so i tried to log in to my Messenger on my GF's laptop while still logged in on my PC (it normally works) but it said password incorrect.

So they are using a scheme called "fishing" or someting like that. Hotmail is quite good with things like that

The reason it's asking you to verify your password is because the one saved is not the one on the account. The page you print-screened is genuine.

You should reset the password for that account if possible and then change the secret answer and question straight away. I'm guessing you're using the new Windows Live Messenger if you're still signed in, as it lets you sign in at multiple computers at the same time. I have mine disabled.
