New project
Another red B - 1.6 16v
Gonna really go to town on this one want it to be like those 'nut an bolt' projects you see but not as intense! im not that rich haha
Soon as my saxo sells I can really get to work on it and splah some money on new things.
Just started on the basics at the weekend... did a quick service on it seing as its on 70k.
New - Oil filter
- Oil change
- Plugs
- Leeds (Know you dont really need to do these but did anyway)
- Was gonna get new air filter but it has a pipercross pannel filter
so I just cleaned that and cleaned inside the air box too.
Got a new boot to put on as its got quite bad rust spots and peeling laquer on spoiler -
New stuff -
Draining oil and doing filter.. -
Then gave it a quick wash
(Dan-sport the crack head in the back ground proberly steeling stuff from my garage to fund his drug abuse)
Then put it back until its next update
Oh and its got these clocks and door handles...I like the clocks but still gonna change them so the stuff will be for sale when I get replacements
Thats it for now just waiting for saxo to sell

Looks quite tidy mate, nice base to go from, mines starting go on the boot in the same places but I'm very close to 100,000 now so it's got the odd paint bubble... done well though
Look forward to seeing the progress

i was looking forward to this making an appearance in here and the last red one was absolutely awesomwe n llove the tigra wheels.
imo all it needs is gsi front and skirts and new boot lil tidy up and big brakes then some leather and smoked lights and windows would be
unless your going down irmy/steiny route

Cheers mate
Not keen on the tigra wheels myself will be up for sale when I have got replacements
I know its boring and sheepish but I really want speedlines...
Couple of things I will get/do -
. Most likely spax RSX
. Speedlines
. Full new GSI kit
. Respray
Lots and lots of other things planned but not gonna list them case I change my mind

Sunday today a.k.a mess with car day
Decided to change the boot over with a rust free one ive got.
Unclip cover
Start disconnecting everything
When everythings disconnected pull loom out of boot (this was a bitch to say the least)
Take spoiler off
Boot off
Rust FTL
Old against new
Putting new one on was even more of a bastard lol trying to get the loom back up was quite a challenge...
In the end I used string theory to get the loom back up
And finaly on
Also changed the dial surround to a standard black one with the help of dan
